Thanks A Melon

Good afternoon blog land! This card came together after I noticed that my water melon slices matched a piece of cardstock on which I had sponged some distress ink! I often work on background pieces and then put them aside for later. The obvious accent color to add was black, and the card came together easily. The distress ink, Worn Lipstick, was applied to the panel and then I stamped the sentiment. "Thanks" is from Lawn Fawn and "A Melon" is from Sunny Studios "Fresh & Fruity" stamp set. The water melon slices, which were water colored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush makers, are also from that set. So cute!

I am entering this card in the Lawnscape Challenge 132 DISTRESS MANIACS
